Laid out on the historic coral island of Mactan beside the International Airport, one can mix golfing pleasure at MCGC with that of the alluring beaches in the area all in a day's experience. Strategically situated within a 10-minute drive from major resorts of the island, the par-71 golf club as its name proclaims, has corals spread in a number of fairways that add up to the difficulty posed by water hazards and sand traps around the greens. The course is relatively flat terrain but has a share of tight fairways.

Facilities

Main restaurant and pro shop at the newly upgraded clubhouse, with modern facilities that include a Finnish sauna, men and women locker and shower rooms, function rooms and bar. The clubhouse has a driving range, practice putting green and tee houses on the fairways.

Availability

Open to public. However, guests are highly encouraged to make reservations especially during weekends. Tourists may book their tee times through www.golfph.com, a golfing website.

Location

Inside the Mactan-Benito Ebuen Air Base, Philippine Air Force, it is just a 5-minute drive from the airport. Practically in the middle of all major hotels and resorts of Mactan Island.

Getting There

Domestic airlines have daily 1 hour 15 minutes flights from Manila. Easily acces-sible by both private and public trans-portation. About 20 minutes by car or taxi from downtown Cebu City.
